Aleksandar Mitrović is off to the World Cup after being named in the Serbia squad.
Much of his nation’s hopes will lie on Mitro’s broad shoulders, with the big man Serbia’s greatest ever goal scorer, having netted 50 times in his 76 caps.
He also bagged the goal that booked their spot at the World Cup, heading home a dramatic late winner against group rivals Portugal a year ago.
It’s a tasty looking group that Serbia find themselves in, as they compete with Brazil, Cameroon and Switzerland for progression to the knock-out stages.
