REMEMBRANCE DAY FIXTURE – BURNLEY V CRYSTAL PALACE

Remembrance Day activities at Crystal Palace fixture

Saturday’s fixture is the Club’s Remembrance Day home fixture at Turf Moor and we will be remembering the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

To show our support on the day, the below will be taking place:

Representatives from both clubs will lay wreaths on the pitch ahead of kick-off. The Last Post will be played and veterans will line the pitch.

There will be a moment’s silence before the game.

Burnley FC poppies will be available to purchase in the Clarets Store.

The Veterans Foundation and Burnley FC in the Community will have a stand in the Rapidz Fan Zone, to promote their work with the armed forces in the local community.

A Match Worn Shirt auction will go live after the game, with all proceeds donated to the Royal British Legion.

The matchday programme will feature an article on past Burnley FC players who have represented both the club and their country in the armed forces.
