During the second half Brenna McPartlan bagged herself a hat-trick, with Laura Elford and Mikayla Wildgoose also getting on the scoresheet . Leah Embley secured two goals and closed the scoring.

First Half

Alnwick Town’s Ellwood opened the scoring with four minutes on the clock when she stormed down the pitch leaving Wildgoose behind, then hammered the ball straight past Clarets’ keeper Lucy Farrell.

Ravening reacted quickly as she found the equaliser just four minutes later, when Coleman-Evans crossed the ball into the box, the midfielder took one touch and placed it into the bottom left corner, leaving keeper Katy Louisee Stark no chance.

Ravening had another chance when Coleman-Evans looped the ball towards the far post where she was able to head towards goal, however Stark did well to punch the ball away from danger.

The Clarets took the lead in the 42nd minute, when it was Coleman-Evans again, who received a pass from Rhema Lord-Mears on the edge of the box and fired the ball straight into the back of the net.

Second Half

Substitute Brenna McPartlan took no time to make a difference, as she added her name to the scoresheet, when she picked up a short ball from Ravening 25-yards out, then fired the ball straight down the middle of the goal.

Laura Elford was next to score as Coleman-Evans assisted her into the box, where she hammered the ball from close-range past Stark.

Embley got her first goal of the afternoon when she picked up the ball from Ravening at the far post and was able to slot the ball in-between Stark and the post.

Wildgoose got on the scoresheet in the 89th minute, as Embley took a high corner that Alnwick Town failed to clear, and the defender found the rebound placing her volley into the back of the net.

McPartlan secured her hat-trick from a penalty when Alnwick Town’s Mia Hatley made heavy contact on Embley within the box, composed McPartlan sent the ball straight into the bottom right corner sending Stark the opposite direction.
