Everything you need to know ahead of our game at Turf Moor
Burnley are back on home turf on Saturday afternoon, with a visit from Sheffield United (3pm KO).
Please note there is roadwork disruption around the stadium, further detail can be found below. We encourage supporters to plan their journey in advance.
At Saturday’s game we will be joining Premier League clubs to support Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign. Further information can be found below.
Take a look at our Vertu match guide for supporters:
Roadwork disruption
Work on Harry Potts Way is now complete.
Even though Yorkshire Street has reopened, it remains very busy and congested in this area. We encourage all supporters to arrive early. Harry Potts Way will close to traffic at 1pm.
We advise supporters travelling to the fixture to avoid this area of the town, and to instead travel to Turf Moor by exiting the M65 at junction 9 and follow the yellow diversion signs. When leaving the town post-match, the same route is advised.

All supporters at Turf Moor are encouraged to read the below carefully:
The safety of all match participants is of paramount importance and we recognise that reckless actions, witnessed at recent fixtures are carried out by a small minority of fans and the majority of supporters attend and watch matches in a safe and respectful way.
As a football club we expect supporters to adhere to the ground regulations in place at Turf Moor, enjoy the game from their seat and DO NOT enter the playing area at any time. It is a criminal offence to enter the pitch and doing so, may result in a criminal record and stadium bans. It also creates a significant safety issue not only for themselves, but for fellow supporters, Club players, staff and match officials.
It is also against ground regulations to throw any items/missiles on the pitch – any supporter that throws anything, putting the safety of players and individuals at risk, will receive a severe banning order from the Club. This behaviour will not be tolerated.
The Club wants all supporters to enjoy the game safely and thank fans for their continued support.
Football unites to improve participant and fan behaviour for the 2023/24 season. Read the ‘Love Football. Protect the Game’ measures here.
One Club for All
As a Club we do not tolerate hate speech or discrimination in any form; it is a criminal offence and will be dealt with severely.
We urge supporters who experience or witness any discriminatory language or behaviour to report it urgently.
Please text CLARETS RESPECT and your message to 66777, all texts will remain anonymous, you can also approach your nearest steward or make a report via the Kick it Out dedicated app.
We thank you for your support.
The Club recently announced new initiatives to help improve matchday experience and entertainment value, including the introduction of new measures allowing flags and banners where appropriate, inside the stadium.
The Club Shop has a 50% discount on Burnley FC approved designs, with the flags priced at £7.50.
Please note, that due to safety reasons the only flags that can be brought into the stadium are those that were given away by the Club at the West Ham fixture or those purchased from the official Club Shop.
Burnley Football Club is One Club for All and Saturday’s game at Turf Moor is our Rainbow Laces themed matchday.
This season, Stonewall is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the Rainbow Laces campaign with the theme of ‘Lace up, to Keep it Up’, in an ongoing commitment to ensuring football is welcoming to all.
Representation on and off the pitch is important and Burnley FC are committed to being an active ally to the LGBTQ+ community and will continue to work towards more diversity and inclusion.

Supporters may be aware, we have made several changes across Turf Moor during the summer. One of the changes has been to partner with the Compass Group for our catering provision across both hospitality and our concourses. We believe that this move will greatly enhance the matchday experience for all.
One consequence of this move is having to change our till systems, which means you will no longer be able to spend your Goldcard directly at the tills. Instead, you now have the below options:
Hospitality
If you wish to use your Goldcard to pay for your bar bill, we can set up a tab and use the Goldcard to cover the tab at the end of the fixture.
Concourses
You will be able to purchase vouchers from the ticket office to be redeemed at the concourses.
Concourse menu & prices
You can collect the vouchers from the Ticket Office beforehand and you will be able to redeem these vouchers directly at the concourse kiosks. Please note, the vouchers cannot be used at the brand-new self-order units or in the North stand and James McIlroy Lower concourses and Rapidz Fan Zone.
