Barnsley visit set to be played in April

Burnley’s trip to Barnsley in the U21 Professional Development League on Tuesday afternoon has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

The Clarets were scheduled to take on the Tykes at the Yorkshire side’s training ground, but with freezing temperatures over the weekend, which are due to continue overnight, the match has been postponed.

The fixture will now take place on Friday 5th April, kick-off 1pm, meaning the U21s are next in competitive action on Saturday afternoon at Brentford in the Premier League Cup.
