Temporary switch for 22-year-old
Burnley U21s midfielder Marcel Lewis has today completed a loan move to Curzon Ashton until the end of the 2023/24 season.
The 22-year-old signed for the Clarets on deadline day of the summer 2022 transfer window, joining from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium.
His first scholarship terms were with Chelsea and the winger also has international experience under his belt, having represented England up to U20 level.
Lewis’ senior Burnley debut came in a Carabao Cup victory over Crawley Town in November 2022 and he spent the first half of this season on loan at partner club Dundee.
He will now make the move across Lancashire to the Tameside Stadium, with Curzon competing in the Vanarama National League North.
