Form Guide

The Clarets come into this weekend following a 3-0 defeat at Crystal Palace last weekend and a loss to Arsenal last time out at Turf Moor.

However, Burnley do hold a strong record against the Cherries in the Premier League having won four of the last five encounters in the top-flight and the hosts will be looking to extend that run this Sunday.

Bournemouth are winless in their last six games in all competitions with their last Premier League victory coming against Fulham on Boxing Day.

The Cherries lost to Leicester on Tuesday night in the FA Cup after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City at the Vitality last weekend in the Premier League.

What Vincent Kompany said

“I know you have to be in it with passion and emotions and the team are. It really hurts us when we lose any game and it’s a real punch in the guts.

“But we build ourselves up to go again every week and we have the consistency to do that. The 24 hours after (defeat) is never good but then it’s back to work and getting ready for this game which is what we have done.

“I would love to go over to the fans this Sunday and fist pump again. I actually visualise that in my head and can picture it and I hope that’s this weekend. That’s no disrespect at all to Bournemouth, we are well aware they are a really good team.

“We just have to look at every opportunity and there’s a game this weekend for us, at home in front of our fans and that’s the only one that matters and that I’m thinking about.”
