Vinny’s notes ahead of today’s game

Hello again,

Last Saturday at Crystal Palace was a tough afternoon and hard to take for us all.

For those who travelled, or wherever you watched or listened… thank you for your support. Always.

We make no excuses for what happened at Selhurst Park and know the only place we can give you the answers you want is on the pitch.

The team is putting in the hard work. We don’t accept anything less than giving everything for our cause.

But we also know the results haven’t been good enough recently and we continue to put all our efforts into getting back to winning ways.

To give you something to smile about.

Something to keep being proud of.

We will always keep the faith. We appreciate you still being on that journey with us.

We will get there together. Stronger.

We welcome Andoni Iraola, his staff and everyone connected with AFC Bournemouth making the long trip from the south coast up to Lancashire this lunchtime.

We’re expecting another tough test like we faced in the reverse fixture back in October.

Finally, we send our thoughts and support to Kristoffer Olson, his family and the entire team at FC Midtjylland.

We send our support because many of us on the coaching staff here worked with Kristoffer during his time at RSC Anderlecht.

As a player and a person Kristoffer is an amazing individual and we all wish him a full and swift recovery.

Enjoy the match!

Vinny
