Clarets return to Turf Moor to take on the Seagulls
The Clarets entertain Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon (3pm) as Vincent Kompany’s side return to Turf Moor for the first home fixture on a weekend since before the March international break.
Burnley will be looking to bounce back from last weekend’s first defeat in over a month, as the Clarets’ four-match unbeaten run came to an end at Goodison Park.
Kompany will however be absent from the touchline for this weekend’s clash after receiving a two-match suspension following the red card at Chelsea, with one match to be served immediately and one match suspended until 31 December 2024.
The game is our No Room For Racism fixture, as we join the league and other clubs to send a clear message that discrimination will not be tolerated in football or wider society.

Where to watch?
Tickets for the meeting with Brighton are still available to purchase online and at the Turf Moor ticket office.

Form guide
The Clarets head into this weekend after suffering the first defeat in over a month in a narrow loss at Goodison Park last Saturday following a four-match unbeaten run prior to that.
Burnley are unbeaten in their last two fixtures at home, after Kompany’s side defeated Brentford before the international break and drew 1-1 against Wolves last week at Turf Moor.
Meanwhile, Brighton have only won one in their last six Premier League games and scored just three goals in those six fixtures.
The Seagulls’ last win on the road came in a 5-0 victory over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane mid-February and De Zerbi’s side, who sit 10th in the league table, lost to the Gunners last time out.

What Vincent Kompany said
“I wouldn’t call it a miracle, but it needs wins. It needs points. We’re not necessarily able to look forward to any game and pick and choose this game as the one. Every game is tough for us but every game offers the opportunity.
“We also can’t look at any game and think we can’t win. What we need is when you have a good performance, you need three points. That’s the difference.
“I think we’ve been in must-win territory for much longer than that. I think it transpired as well, with the energy we’ve had in games, the drama in games, it comes associated with some drama because you’re just constantly on a knife-edge.
“We’ve been living it, we’ve just not been having the rewards for it. I expect no different though in the next six games.”
